Two–Year Exposure Testing

Unprimed exterior substrate boards—including smooth cedar, hardiplank, fypon molded polyurethane, southern yellow pine, and hard enamel—were painted with one coat of Aura Exterior Paint and one coat of other exterior paints from our competitors.

The boards were then sent to Miami, where they were exposed at a tilt angle of 45 degrees from the horizontal facing south. After two years of being subjected to varying degrees of heat and humidity, the test boards painted with Aura exterior paint decisively exhibited superiority over the competition.

The independent third–party exposure and weathering test determined each paint brand's vulnerability to the elements. After evaluating the test boards, the results showed that Aura exterior paint was a cut above the rest with respect to resisting dirt pickup and preventing mold–and–mildew buildup.
