Helpful Tips

1. Use only high-quality rollers and brushes for the best finish.

2. Mix different paint colors in separate buckets to ensure color intergrity.

3. Do not stop painting in the middle of a wall for any length of time. End at natural breaks for consistent color and coating.

4. When “cutting in” (painting along edges with brush), paint far enough from edge so roller strokes cover brush strokes. Cut in 3 - or 4- ft. increments at a time, then roll.

5. Roll in W pattern, 3-ft. by 3-ft. wide, then use horizontal strokes to fill in unpainted areas.

6. Painter’s tape should be removed when paint is fully dry to minimize peeling.
